- Tri Lite, Inc. bought the Mars Signal Light Company in 1991 and they still make some Mars lights. This is their current "Skybolt."
The Skybolt (SW) is a full sized, Rotating Beacon Light. Durable Mars gear drive for reliable operation. Dome colors available: Amber, Blue, Clear, or Red. 50 watt halogen bulb or dual 30 watt incandescent.
And now for some reason they have a mini LED strobe light that they're calling the "Skybolt STLP LED DC Strobe Beacon." The mini-strobe is cool but to disrespect the Skybolt name by associating it with not only an LED application but a popping strobe for the love of God is inexcusable. I think a worldwide boycott of Tri Lite is in order.

The newer style go for around 129.99 on da bay, however if you are keen to watch the lower plastic base is taller on the 1970's models, verses the newer ones. The globes and lock rings appear to be the same.
So if they made a 3rd movie "Blues Brothers 2020," they could bring back Mars bars on the newer chase cars? (Thinking out loud )
I saw that kind of thinking in a MI you tube video. The lights were mounted on Mopars.
