That's a cool car at a great price! Wonder how much rust is in trunk and quarters.

Did you buy it, Joliet Jake? Or were you the one selling it? Either way the ad is gone, a cool looking Royal Monaco!

This car + the '74 two door would be a great deal. So, for 3K ud have a cool car to start a BM. I'm tempted to buy them and hemi swap it and still have less than $13K invested.. then run 12's in the quarter while getting great MPG.

its a k code 5th and the vent has me guess its a special order does it have to be a A38 in 77 for all special orders 5th digit is engine code, 360, 2nd digit being a K is for police DK41U is Dodge (D), police (K), 4dr sedan (41), 440 (U). Yours is Dodge (D), medium price (M), 4 dr sedan (41), 360 2bbl (K).

remember that on 77 in Alexandria ky craigslist in 2012 ... it was a dk vin can you find the ad I can't find that car specifically although this is probably the closest match. Look familiar? Apparently it was a 1975 although there's no proper pics of the whole car to confirm that, it could have been a '77. It was in Kentucky and had a certified 140 speedo.. There's 2 cars in the thread, a civilian and a cop car. - bluesmobiles.proboards.com/thread/1550/1975-monaco-parting-out-kentucky---------- The passenger vent blocked off in your '77 Royal Monaco is A/C delete, as far as I know. It was ordered without air conditioning is all that means and we've seen that in civilian vehicles.

- If your car is 'special order' there will be a Y39 code on your fender tag, plus there will be an additional tag that says special order on it. The E57 on your fender tag is for the regular 360 2-bbl. The 360 4-bbl cop motor is E58 ... You mentioned the 5th digit in your VIN is a "K" that's the engine code and that's for the 360 2-bbl. For the 360 4-bbl cop motor that engine code would be "L" ... Can you run your VIN# through something like Carfax and get a history of the car ? Unless there's an A38 on your fender tag it doesn't seem to be a police package car.

U 100 xxx xxx xxx is that a u code That U on its own would mean the car was built for the USA. C for Canada and I for export. Here's a fender tag decoder you can play around with, it seems to give a lot of "unknown" at times, with some of the tag codes I've entered anyway but give 'er a shot. - www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=87Like it says, make sure to start at the bottom and work up, and you don't have to fill it all out at once. You can do the bottom row and click decode, then do another row and click decode etc.. * Edit ^ I just realized that decoder is for 1969 to 1974 but enter some anyway, what the hell ! Here's a list of codes I'm not sure specific to what years. Some of the years are listed. - www.mopar1.us/build.html---------- This blue one, is it posted here do you know? I can't seem to find it.

- Buy It Now is $6,000 - www.ebay.com/itm/183702518941Seller is a member. Nice looking car, if it doesn't become a Blumo it could clone as a New Jersey cop car, they had the vent windows on their Royal Monaco squads.
