Seems steep for a no title, no running, smallblock. Add in that roof rust may have led to irreparable interior damage and that only makes it worse.

I’ve seen this car in my travels around the interwebs, just can’t put my finger on where; maybe over on the c body forum...
I think that’s the same LY6 gold my Fury was... Looks better on a ‘74!

This isn't very far from me. Three years ago in the same town there was a '76 Royal for sale (and the seller had a '74 front clip to go with it). I'd wager it's the same seller. SOLD - 1976 Royal Monaco (New York)

$1,000-1,500 as parts for the nose, taillights, ect, the rest is junk. I can't see a derby guy pay more than that either.

Maybe I'll offer him a realistic price in the future if he still has it later in the year.

Man, if only I could row a boat across lake Ontario.... Unless you've got a Royal sedan and need the parts this car isn't worth rowing across a puddle for, it's a hardtop with severe rot. If it was a sedan it would still be a parts car but being a hardtop makes it worth even less in parts.

already, converted my Royal 77 into a Blumo got unlucky last month air compressor clutch seize on me and starter too, got a new 2.5 hp starter, new alternator bracket and waiting for some tools either to replace clutch bearings or delete air conditioning completely.
I have a friend who has a 1975 royal but needs alot of work.

- Do you suppose this car was in a flood ? alt=" "] The '76 I bought from GA (the first parts car I bought for HOB3 and traded for the Demo derby '74) was a Florida car and had roof rot like that. Florida and other Southern coastal cars rot like this from the top down from the humidity and salt water in the air, HOB 3's roof is really rotted from it's 11 years in Myrtle Beach. I sometimes think it's worse than the northern rot. I'll stick with cars from the west from now on.
