Is that 60 Caddy next to the Monaco a convertible? I imagine it's about as rough if not rougher than the Monaco though. Just curious. Glad you saved her brother! Her parts anyway! LOL
Everything there was pretty rough, some has been sitting longer than others. The guy was into Cadillacs, more than half a dozen scattered about his yard. Had to climb over them in some places. Its hard to tell in the picture, but the Monaco is sitting on a slight hill, L to R in the picture. When I made the initial pull the car came out of its ruts and immediately slid down the "hill" into the side of that Cad. Oops. What a nightmare.
I blew up the pictures on my phone, It looks like the lettering on the header is (was) in the normal place. I've yet to verify ANYTHING on the car (VIN, codes, etc..) until I get the hood/doors open. The latter will probably be a destructive process. Looking forward to the investigative work to figure out this car's heritage!

Nice save Pat, great find. Looks like the front portions of the front fenders are good, so they can be used on Brougham/hidden headlight fenders to convert them to '74 style. If the upper vinyl door panels are decent, I'd be interested in them.

It's officially a 1974 Dodge sedan! Definitely NYSP, originally sprayed blue over yellow. DK41U. Haven't deciphered the trim tag yet, but lots of codes. No A/C but power windows!
The car didn't originally have pushbars. Either the previous owner, or the dealer he got it from, picked them from an old Westchester, NY patrol car.
