- Jim Belushi had a party ...
I honestly had no idea he was in the cannabis business ...
Belushi, 63, the younger brother of the late John Belushi, was speaking from personal experience. He owns a farm in Oregon where he grows cannabis. He rolled out his Vault dispensaries this year and plans to launch a brand of pot in the near future named after the Blues Brothers, the musical duo originally played by his brother and Dan Aykroyd.
Cannabis is legal for recreational use in California and eight other U.S. states. It’s allowed for medicinal use in 20 additional ones. The market is expected to reach $75 billion in the U.S. by 2030, up from $6 billion in 2016, according to investment bank Cowen & Co. Still, the plant is illegal under federal law, meaning institutional investors have largely steered clear.

- Great article about Jim and his cannabis business ...
Over a span of three years, Jim Belushi’s tentative first steps into the cannabis industry morphed into full immersion. The founder and operator of Belushi’s Farm threw himself into the deep end of the pool at MJBizCon 2016 and hasn’t stopped soaking up knowledge since. Today, the ninety-three-acre spread in southern Oregon hosts a 22,000-square-foot, state-licensed grow that puts Belushi’s Private Vault on the shelves of dispensaries statewide, but Belushi said he is nowhere near finished with his education.
Black Diamond OG, Blue Dragon, Crippler, Snowman Cookies, Chocolate Hashberry, Jeffrey Iverson’s award winning Nilla Wafers (the smoke that brought Jim into the business), BubbleMint, Purple Lights, Purple Pineapple Afghani, Lemon Chiffon Cake, Lemon GpG Kush, Grapefruit Kush, Limoncello, Pre-98 Bubba Kush, Afwreck, Jim’s favorite Cherry Pie, and the infamous Captain Jack’s Gulzar Afghanica round out the premiere selection of cannabis from Belushi’s Private Vault.
Might be a HIGH profile paying gig for a Blumo here ...
The Blues Brothers strain will take his operation to a national level. He told Advertising Age he plans to launch the brand by driving a replica of the famous Bluesmobile down Chicago’s Lake Street under the El Train with a joint instead of a public address speaker on top.
Lol. Maybe whoever builds the joint for the roof can get it to puff out some smoke
A couple of vids from last year, not about The Blues Brothers strain, just Jim and his Oregon facility.

- Three weeks ago they had a harvest party at Jim's operation and apparently announced the release of the Blues brothers weed.
Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi’s widow Judy Belushi Pisano and John’s brother, actor Jim Belushi, congregated on the latter’s cannabis farm in southern Oregon this past weekend to announce the official release of a Blues Brothers cannabis label.
Aykroyd rolled up to the fundraiser in a decommissioned cop car with “City of Fairview Police” emblazoned on the side. The event was captured on camera and is expected to be a part of Belushi’s new reality show about his cannabis farming experience. Further details of the new program have yet to be released.
