9.25 2.71 posi with antiroll is out. Moving to Lemons car along with a nice running steel crank 440. Ran on the makeshift run stand for most of the day with an adapter and 2 BBL carb. Holley 700 on the bench. Rest of the junk getting hauled off. Time to clean up.

Paint weather, or the lack thereof, move us over to the spare Lemons 24 driveline. Had the motor/tranny out of the WI SP car running and it would pop thru the carb when cylinder pressure came up. But it had great compression and all other vitals checked to spec. Cracked it open and found the flat cam. Have new one, lifters and freeze plugs on the way. 98k on the ticker but no smoke or leaks if anyone needs a real K car HP motor. $3k cleaned and repaired. 337-499-44 three five

Finally got the Passion 5 speed in the Great Race Coronet Hemi 4 door FBI car. What a nice piece of engineering on the trans. Now 1500 rpm in 5th is 45 MPH with a 4:10 rear gear. 2000 rpm is 60 mph. Now we make performance charts and it will be in this years Great Race. Just need SCMODS

You talk about the WORST cobble assembly, wiring job in history. BUT we are saving this ADPS Javelin's life. Good news is solid and police markings in tact. Engine had a ridge ream shade tree overhaul so we started from scratch with that. Engine/tranny complete. Paint job fair but painter had air in his lines so you get an occasional bugger. Good enough for preservation. Engine room next and start car reassembly next week and then off to Bama for reunion.
