I look at it this way, I wasn't able to get this one, but I will be able to get others because there will be less people in the forum who would need one. I'm trying to look at it on a positive side. Sorry about that 58hemifury.

Sorry about that 58hemifury. You want to buy one done or build one? Phish I would buy one at least, if it was plain-jane Dodge Monaco from 1974-1976, or a Plymouth Fury II from the same time period, I would get one in a heartbeat. Then convert it into a Bluesmobile, or the small chance of finding a Bluesmobile already made. They would obviously have to be four-doors. The issue is that I live up in Wisconsin, where most of these cars would rust out back-in-the-day, and if I end finding one somewhat close to me, they're a pain to get because the chances of someone picking up the car the same time I would is very high XD. I am glad there is two forums dedicated to this, the Bluesmobile forums, and the Mopar C-Bodies Only Forum. But at this rate I would go anywhere just to get a Monaco/Royal Monaco, or a Fury II/Gran Fury.

Sorry about that 58hemifury. I appreciate it but you did nothing wrong, you want a car and that's understandable, the PMs were a little much but it's cool. I just have my projects and see this cleaner car that can save me time and money and in the process allow me to sell my '74 to a kid who needs a '74 due to smog test regulations where he lives at a low price by switching some parts and we both make out. Even if you bought it everything would still be cool, it's just a car and there will always be more.

This one and the '74 2 door both are gone on Craigslist, I guess I missed out too. I wonder if it was the same buyer for both.

- Is this one sold for sure or just gone from craigslist at the moment? Sometimes, when there's lots of calls, we've seen a seller pull the ad only for it to return a day or two later at a higher price. ----- Thanks for the link, Michael. Instant flashback when I opened it, one of our members had that link posted here (or at the old Blues Central) some 7 years ago. Still the same pics, too! The exact same pics, I remember this Fury ... So who knows how those cars look now. There were already trees growing out of some of them . ----- Someone grab it quick, that's derby country! The only possible good news there is that the 'Crash For Cash Old School' demo derbies in Nebraska are joining the trend of not allowing folks to wreck cars from the 70's or even the 80's in this case! "Must be a 1990 or newer car that has a V4 or V6 engine. (NO AWD OR VOLVO CARS ALLOWED)"So, that sounds like something positive there. Although I did see rules for some other Nebraska derbies that did not mention any restrictions on year of car, but maybe they already fall under the CFC Old School rules. - crashforcash.tv/Old_School_Rules

Fellas, I got the car with a piece of my first SSI draft! I made contact with seller for payment instructions early AM on the 17th and he has been paid. When you see a 4 door Monaco with tan interior for 1200, you pounce on it. Much to my surprise it's basically one owner driven twice weekly. Grandpaw bought it new and drove it until he died. Grandchild ends up with it and nowhere to keep it so sold it. And apologized for the rusty quarters. It is WAY too nice to part out as I just need suspension stuff. Somebody out there must have a wreck to pluck. Just need the stuff my junk guy hauled off.
flcl64 your good at reasoning. The owner of the 2 door and I are in discussions to mate the two cars and out comes a Monaco Bluesmobile and I get a running roller for the parts I need. MAKE AMERICAN V8 AGAIN!!!!!
ps I have been diagnosed with a major case of TMS (too much stuff) combined with a mild case of TMB (too many Bluesmobiles) Phish

I don't know, I told him I was going to send him money by cashiers check, PayPal, whatever he preferred, he told me he was going to send more pics but he was at work at the moment, I replied no rush, didn't hear back, then the ad was removed.

He mentioned he had a lot of contacts for more info etc. The guy that restored my high school H2 widowmaker was from Omaha I was able to be "Johnny of the spot" with a handful of Bens. It's all good and I am done, NMS (no more stuff)

Which 2 door are we talking about again? Detroit? (I'm suffering from NEB.)

Another FrankenBlumo will be created and a maniacal "It lives" will be shouted by it's creators followed by crazed Blues Brothers cruising down the highway followed by every Law enforcement agencies. After being pulled over; "We wuz just kinda just testing the suspension officers".
