Just returned from doing a "take off" assessment of the cars (2 VIN away) brother located 30 miles from my daughters place in Shelby Al. Poor brother had lots of panels, window metal to change but is an outstanding restoration. Too nice to drive. Seems the first 12 cars of the 72 assembly line (12/7/71 Pearl Harbor Day)were to fill the 71 Bama PO. SO they are they only 72 SST (71s were not SST) with the quicksilver metallic paint as discontinued for 72. The 12 were also at 71 price and the 1st on the line which went on to make 24000 Javelins of various configs. ONLY 3 are know to remain and Sandra's seems to be the only one driven daily. 2020 Great Race should see it. It is a rare car for sure and "hauls the mail". This pic is a before as the 2nd owner had it in Texas for most of its life after Bama auction. The only patch on the whole car is small spot in front of rear tire. Another one saved.
