How much do you want for it? How far gone is it? do you have pics? As I said it will be a pile of rust with a VIN number, no proof of ownership, free but not until I'm done cutting it up and stripping it.

That sounds just fine, I'm working on getting that 76 Washington one too! I'm trying to find someone in my family I can go with to drive it back now.

Didn't get the Washington one, but it looks like my options have widened thanks to hemifury! I can take any 74-77 C-body sedan. It still doesn't need a motor or transmission. I have a really mean, brand new 440 and 727 tourqueflite on the stand waiting to go into nothing less than a Bluesmobile.
If anyone is trying to get rid of their project and they want it to go to someone who will keep at it for as long as it takes, I'm the guy! I am not looking to sell/flip the car, and IF I ever need to get rid of it(Big if), it stays with us on this site!
(Edit: Kinda don't think a VIN swap is a good idea. Looks frowned upon.)

I recently saw a straight '66 Monaco coupe for $1500 and it got me really thinking about the '66. I kinda want one now to drive in the meantime, fix it up and sell or trade for a 74 later on.

Did you ever find a suitable old Monaco? If you do, grab it! Seems that the 74 and 75s are tougher to come by over the past year at least.

Life keeps throwing me curve balls. Just out of reach, or just out of my now lowering price range. My plan was to get an older Monaco, fix it up, and flip or trade it for a '74 sedan.
I got a spare 440 that was fixed up by my NHRA racing uncles, and I really want to get it off the stand and into my own Bluesmobile. It's only got about 2000 miles on it and came with it's matching, fresh, 727 Torqueflite tranny. Fresh coat of Chrysler 440 blue, looks too pretty to sit! (I also got kinda picky and decided I can't put that motor in anything less than a '74.)
So, my mission now is to scout out the 74's and share them here to help keep them in the community and when I get enough dough saved up, I'll know right were to look!

Back in the market for a 74 sedan. Got a couple grand saved up. I saw one on facebook in Texas come and go really fast, hoping for more like that. Doesn't need to run, looking for a project car.
