- Well it's been 10 months since any activity with this one. I can imagine someone scoopin' 'er up for $4,000 or even $3,500 USD, it's a beautiful car. And as mentioned earlier the 1976 Monaco was the Monaco police package that year. You can see a couple or maybe more in the movie, based on fender script that is. There's some cars without fender script, some with clearly Royal Monaco script, I'd say the upside down one on the left here is a 1976 Monaco, it appears to have the Royal nose but Monaco only script ... * Marked as sold

...the 1976 Monaco was the Monaco police package that year. You can see a couple or maybe more in the movie, based on fender script that is. And not just the fender script but also the lack of the rear bumper corner guards could suggest a 1976 Monaco as opposed to a 1977 Royal Monaco. The CPD squad Elwood jumps over looks to be a 1976 Monaco based on those criteria ...
