Anyone have a source for the outer belt molding window sweeps? Whitey's are really bad, he's going to need all new rubber everywhere, it's either super dry, painted, or both, I'm sure I'll need it for HOB #3 and I might as well assume my Gran Fury will need it too. I found threads on weatherstips and window channels but couldn't find any old threads on this stuff.

My car needs them also..I have some that where made for a 64 Impala that I can get to work. Problem I have is actually removing the glass in order to have access to the screws holding them.

I don't have any of mine apart at the moment but I'm thinking something like this. www.steelerubber.com/outer-beltline-70-3804-61 I'll need to pull a door apart to get the measurements but Steele has several different sizes this style, something has got to be close.

I've talked to them..they said I could send originals and they'd make match's for them. Not sure how much they'd charge to do that tho.

Sorry, I just reread this, you mean actually make sweeps for a Monaco based on your parts, not just match them up. I don't know if they would charge or not, it would open a new market for them, '74-'77 C body sedans.

Actually, made a mistake..I talked to restoration parts specialties. And they said they would made sweeps using the originals as a template. I was gonna do it until I started messing with my door and couldn't figure out how to get the glass out. Lol stores.restorationspecialties.com/

Restoration specialties mad me new belt mouldings and matched up some window channel. Parts turned out nice, window channel isn't perfect but works. The belt moldings are about 95% of factory, close, closer than the window channel, but still not a 100% perfect match.

If I remember correctly it was pretty cheap. I think the window channel for the whole car was $40 and the belts were $75?
