Or then you can make a small hole in the middle of the dome and screw it to the roof with one bolt, which requires only an one small hole to the headliner(wires included). Ground wire goes there too. And an perfectionist would also use three cutted + superglued? screws in the screw holes. Where's the on/off switch of an 74/75 light? It's a separate switch; not part of the light itself. You can see it in the pic above of "king of the hill" with the tan fabric headliner. It's to the left of the light. I looked that the dome was hanging from it's mount on that one. edt. I had just a bit alcohol in my system + I was tired and woken up in the middle of the night.

Not to hijack this thread but I have seen "king of the hill" referenced in the past but I have no idea what it is? It is obviously a car but is it a board members car or a car that is known to be an accurate representation of a 74 Monaco cop car?

What's the diameter on those lights? I have a rip on the headliner and thought that I could hide it with some cheap, battery operated light. If I find one that looks like a cop light.

You're talking about one of those push lights, correct? That's a clever idea that might just work.

You're talking about one of those push lights, correct? That's a clever idea that might just work. Clever AND cheap...I like both of those! Rob
