I have been storing my wheel wells outside next to my garage over the winter because they take up so much damn room in the garage. I was going to bring them inside next week and start prepping them for paint when I noticed they had been stolen from my yard . I called the guy in Indiana who has the add on Craigslist parting out the 74 Gran Fury, And apparently he is sentimentally attached to the wheel wells on the Fury because he doesnt want to sell them. He does, however have wheel wells he will sell me off of a 77 Newport for $100. Price is fair, but I'm not sure if they are the same. Anyone know for sure? Thanks, Tony

- I have a feeling they will fit, Tony. One person you could contact to be sure would be daBay seller, "406." We've posted parts of his here, plus he's always parting out Mopars. Spanks has dealt with him and I believe he said 406 was a good guy. Here's his daBay Store page ... stores.ebay.com/406-Vintage-Farms?_trksid=p2047675.l2563For example, he's parting out this New Yorker ... ... and says in the ad, "a lot of parts from this car interchange with the C-Body 1974-1978 Dodge Plymouth and Chrysler cars." He's far away from you regarding buying anything from him (WA), but I'd bet he could answer your question straight away. Good luck. Who the hell steals wheel wells from someones yard?? Jesus H., must have turned them in at the scrap yard for money for some crack.

I looked up the wheel wells in an old catalog, and it lists Dodge, Chrysler and Imperial as having the same part numbers. Plymouth has a different number for some reason. Thanks for all the help!

Vintage Farms did not have any available for sale right now. The guy in Indiana with the Newport blew me off. I ended up buying a pair from Dessert Valley Auto Parts for $250. Shipping would have been $100, But My Mom lives in Arizona so she picked them up for me and will drive them out to Chicago in June.

all front inner fender wells are the same as far as bolting up and working on 74-78 c body cars. Only difference in them, some had an extra brace in them and most commonly in the Chrysler. I have seen the brace in a dodge, but can't recall ever seeing one in a Plymouth. This is probably why Hidden Valley Auto parts didn't say they were the same for the Plymouth. there are 2 different inner fenders, n they probably only looked up 1 part number.
Ironically, I just had a buddy deliver me a front clip from Arizona, frame, fenders, header panel, everything but the inner fenders. I wander where they went. I don't know what yard they came from, but I know he stayed at his grandparents house in Phoenix. bumper included, but all from a 75 2 door
just more info!

I got them painted and installed and they fit good, and have the extra brace you mentioned.
