I have followed the guidence provided in the forum to no avail. Potos will not post. I tried both the "attachment" button and the the "insert Image" option. I have tried Firefox, IE and Chrome. When I use "attachment" it seems to just hang, like its trying to upload the photo. Size is not an issue. I have tried to link phtos from my photobucket, but they just come up with the the broken icon. Appreciate any help.

We are right around the limit for attachments, I go back through the old car ads and save the attachments into photobucket freeing up some room. Try the attachment option again in an hour. Photobucket can be a royal pain, it seems to slow my computer down when it's open but I still use it, lol. Make sure you're wrapping the image quotes around the image link and not the page link. That used to screw me up back in the early days of the bucket. I'm not sure what else to suggest. A few members, myself included, had problems with photobucket when they switched formats a couple of years ago but it's been working good for me lately. And for anyone who just wants to hotlink images of stuff from daBay and craigslist etc, go for it. It doesn't use attachment space and you don't need photobucket or what have ya. The image link will eventually break but folks will have time to save the pic if they want to. Good stuff will go into the proboards bucket for posterity.

- I just found a bunch of dead attachments. I never really took a moment to realize there was a "manage attachments" section here, lol. I mean duh. So there was a lot of attachments taking up space that were in "blank threads." The attachment was dead but still taking up space, I tried to find the original threads but they were indeed blank and non existent, not even a thread title so that's kinda weird and since nothing was there to look at I deleted them one at a time. So we're good for attachments again like it should be It was them damn bots I tells ya ha. Damn bots and their invisible attachments.

- These folks are lightning fast to load and link pics, no account or hoops to jump through ... You can select the pic to expire in 1 day, 7 days, 31 days or No expiration. - postimages.org/You don't need an account but it is an option, I haven't clicked into that to see if it's for available album storage or what have ya. It's just a really fast and easy way to post pics from your harddrive to forums. And no expiration date on the pic ... ? cool

^ It would appear they've gone down, or at least their ".org" name is gone, now they're ".cc" ... I've been using postimage so now I guess I'll have to change the pic links of the last 100 pics I've posted from .org to .cc ? That's what it seems like that notice is saying. Jesus H., eh, lol. Computers and the internet test us mentally from time to time. I noticed in some older threads some posts that still had an active pic and it's tinypic !! So maybe tinypic is charging now but at least they didn't kill every and all picture link like photobucket did. Photobucket apparently dropped their insane hijacking price of $400 each and every year down to $100 every year, maybe they're regretting their business decision? Anyway now this postimage nonsense. Says they "hope to resolve the issue" whatever that means ... zzzzzzz
