I was floating through the past postings of cars for sale, and I came across 2 cars that have been through my hands at one point or another. The first one is the 1977 Gran Fury Border Patrol car. That was a solid car with much potential. I had purchased it in WA and towed it to AZ to clean up for resale.
The other car is the green 71 Ford Custom. I'm not 100%, but 97% this was the car I bought in Los Angeles from an LAPD officer. That car was an FBI car based out of Los Angeles. I was planning on keeping it, but I sold it when times became tight with the real estate/stock market crashes of late 2008. I sold the car to a 'friend' in OH, who I know did a paint job and installed all the NOS trim items I sold with the car. I'm sure he resold it, so it doesn't surprise me it ended up in NY. What makes me 3% unsure it was mine is the A pillar spotlight hole. It was completely void of any emergency/warning equipment, including spotlights. It wouldn't surprise me tho if the guy I sold it to drilled the hole.
Proof it's a small world.....
