I am returning this interesting car to the road for some friends it has sat for near ten years - it has a dead on replica speaker for the roof that I still need to remount - interesting story behind the car - I just have to sort it all out. what is really strange is this was a CHP car - was not a pursuit package ( I know my mopars) but was definitely optioned as a supervisors car or maybe detective. If the story behind it is verified it could be interesting. The car will be doing some charity work in the near future.

Welcome aboard doubled.
It appears to be a hardtop custom.
edit: I'd also be curious to see if it has any police options.

Good looking Blumo, DD. Why was it sitting for 10 years? Hiding from the rollers? ;D Welcome aboard.

It's from Ohio just south of Cleveland - the owner passed away from cancer a few years back - great guy could have been Jake's twin brother from another mother. The car had the cop screen in the back seat area mounted from the upper shoulder belt mounts - you can still see the imprints on the head rests. it has the police package factory tranny cooler and radiator - it is a 360 four barrel - Kinda bizarre seeing a hard top as a cop car but I have dismantled a few in my days and usually the hard tops were detective cars or other State type vehicles. I did not find the build sheet yet but still looking. The car came from California then to Arkansas finally landed in Ohio. C-bodies are not my thing but this thing is has it's own personality

Nope it came with the car - just had to mount it up. Also have the life-size Jake & Ellwood statues to go with it. Based on what I can cobble together in the paperwork that came with the car - it was made by a prop company in California for the what appears to be the House of Blues
