A lot of the time it appears that there's no letters at all at the back. But when you do see them, the missing D is completely screen accurate. The way I look at it is the D is always missing because it's missing in scenes where we get a good look at the back, meaning it was most likely intentional. That's my thinking too. The maxwell street scene is the most obvious rear end shot so must have been the intention the d is always missing. Most people are going to check frame by frame like we do lol. So it's staying off Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

You actually can remove the rear bumperettes without removing the bumper. I did it with a long extension on a drill. Not on mine. Maybe mine's different being a 77 but I've looked and the top bolt is blocked by body! Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

Fitted a hidden bluetooth unit today so now I can play ipod or phone etc all through the standard radio with no wires and still looks totally standard. Very pleased with it Off to a big car show at Brands Hatch on Sunday too! Post the details on this unit please! I originally bought this FM modulator and fitted a few weeks ago. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251918065175?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITWorks well after a bit of fiddly tuning. But I didn't like having to plug the ipod in all the time so I just bought this bluetooth audio receiver www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141361292278?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITWired it all up to a under the dash (with a hidden usb charge socket in glove box) and hey presto totally wireless playback on the original radio! It's all on a totally separate hidden fused switch too so it's not on all the time. Well pleased with it now though the 40 year old speakers have seen better days so they'll be replaced soon and next year I plan on adding an amp and doing a proper system to all connect up to roof speaker.

Well a busy little day doing bits and bobs to the blumo ready for tomorrow's show. ........ Fitted a nice bit of beige carpet in the boot as was nothing in there other than the sound proofing. Replaced the 38 year old rear speakers with some nice new infinity 6x9s. Sounds so much better now. Still need to get new fronts though as they're worse than the rears were. And fitted a constant live 3 way power point in the boot to power the cool box and plug my maintenance charger in when in storage long term. Yes it's fused All set. So today I finally dropped out the tank to fit the new fuel sender. Was a bit naughty and did it with half a tank of fuel as I didn't have a clue how much was in it! Got it out no problem at all. Fitted the new sender after testing it worked! The new lock ring was too thin so just used the old one which worked fine with the new seal too. Stopped for today as I need a new top fuel hose as that's a bit knackered so need to fit before the tank. I'll also rustproof it and under the car though I'm amazed how clean it is under there! The old sender just had 1 fuel outlet but the new one has an extra outlet with a non return hose type thing inside the tank. What's that for? And where should it go? Or do I blank it off? I'm pretty sure you block it off, it was for a return line. Some car had them, some didn't. The car is amazingly clean, the best part is the '74 fenders I bought for it were just as solid and clean.
