The first thing it needs is weatherstrip on all doors.

Just outing myself a bit as I bought this car out of the "Buffalo Collection" and I thought members would enjoy hearing a post-sale story. I bought the car sight unseen and mechanically it was a little rougher than I hoped, mostly due to a bad carb, with a new carb (and new rods (see below)) the power plant now runs like clockwork... a high torque clock that is I've gotten the interior mostly redone (glove box liner, new radio, signal switch, etc.), new wiring harness, boiled & refurbed fuel tank, electronic ignition, new carb, AC installed, new radiator, brakes redone (including custom made brake lines), new custom exhaust, and a lot of little things taken car of (e.g., the aforementioned weatherstripping). It turns out the previous rebuild of the 429 PI did not use hardened push rods even though the guide plates were hardened; no surprise that after a bit of time I ended up with bent rods which have now been replaced. The 429 PI puts out everything one would expect it to. I am preparing to redo the paint, work on panel fit issues, and have the undercarriage and suspension completely gone through -- essentially a "frame on" restoration. I'm going to have the wheels repainted black (as they were originally) and I'm trying to find the correct hub caps for the car or I might go without. I'm tempting to switch to a different, year correct, color instead of the medium green. I'll post a link to some picture when the paint is done.
