It kinda sucks, the car doesn't look as bad as we assumed, if the seller had answered his G.D. emails I would have had that one.

It kinda sucks, the car doesn't look as bad as we assumed, if the seller had answered his G.D. emails I would have had that one. Last spring or summer or so I sent a couple of emails, too. Never got an answer as well. That DID suck. Then again, it was this very offer that finally produced the "click" in my head which spelled "One day I am going to drive a Bluesmobile. Period." Since then, some very nice afficionados here in Germany and especially you guys in this forum have provided abundant help and information. Just great! Let's hit it!

Well Gentleman, I actually bought this car. Paid him $448 dollars for it after haggling. It was originally an Illinois state police car. I drug the rust bomb out of the dirt and hauled it home. Lots of rust. Put a Bluesmobile paint job on it and drove it for several months. Its rust was extensive but the old girl ran like a top. A local body shop owner bought it from me and is currently restoring it to movie car perfection.
