Hi all, DentArthurDent here. LONG time Blues Brother fan, and hoping to audition for Jake in October at USF. Just discovered these forums, and brought home my own '89 Ford Crown Vic for BluMo conversion. Saved it from someone attempting to pimp-their-ride. Pics below! Up first, removing that ugly vinyl top! Just thought I'd pop in and say hello and introduce myself. Looking forward to growing with this community! -- HTML fail, can't seem to get img tags to work: fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/308941_10150281465104098_563399097_7495578_2906405_n.jpg

Let's try it again! Hm, tags are still failing. However, I'll attach the picture. I really look forward to working through this build, I hope you all don't mind a million pictures. Attachments:

Hey, DentArthurDent ... if that is your real name lol. ;D Welcome. That's one clean looking Crown Vic. I'm not sure why the image won't load properly for you. I think most of us put pics into photobucket or flickr and load them up that way, but the attachment works fine. Unfortunately for these Proboard sites it looks like you can only attach one pic at a time. We look forward to all the pics you want to share with us. We can also provide you with links on how best to make the graphics and stuff like that, if you need that sorta stuff that is. I'm sure you've got a master plan worked out. I'd suggest you start a new thread for your Vic in the Bluesmobile owners thread, it's not just for Monaco's. A member here, Blueblood, has an actual movie car from BB2000, and Bismo has an excellent replica. So you've found a good spot to hang out. Talk to ya later.

Understood! I wanna make some progress before I go about posting some pictures. I made an Ectomobile last year, but my heart is, and always has been, with Blues Brothers.
Like I mentioned, up first is vinyl removal! Will be sure to load pictures over at PB when the time comes. I love documenting every step of the process.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys, can't wait to get working on this project.
