Price drop to 14.000,-- Euro. Yesterday I wanted to buy this car and went over 700km from Germany to Italy. But what I have seen is certainly not a car for German TÜV. Windshield is cracked and the car has some rust holes. Also the front axle is very rusty so that I don´t know if the TÜV allows it. Also a lot of small problems with the car. So if a German would buy it he has to do a lot of work and spend a lot of money to drive it on German roads. The look is very authentic and the guy who sells it is very friendly.
For a Country without TÜV or something like that, it would be a good car where you can start with...

Hello everyone, I am the owner of the Bluesmobile visited yesterday by the German guys. I fully ignore what strict rules the TUV basically states but I can assure you the car is great and in good conditions. With all respect, German guys expected to see a fresh, new car while any car with almost 42 years cannot be. It shows some rust here and there but nothing too serious. And also all problems mentioned by them are really minor. What they did forget to tell you is that body is perfect, tyres are new, cover seats are new, engine runs perfectly, sound is great and carburetor parts are all new. You will not get any Bluesmobile better than this at the same price. Anyhow, car is for sale at 11000€ and I can ship it wherever you are. Thanks for your attention

I'm looking into buying this car, but having trouble dealing with the shipping. FYI, that first pic isn't the same car..the car for sale has vent windows and red primer around the handles. Anybody, know of a safe and affordable way to ship and transfer money?

There are two different cars in this ad. The one on the first pic has tan interior the other one has black interior. Would be nice to know which one is for sale? The one I looked at is the one with black interior. Perhaps Filippo can tell us something about that.

Hello everyone, I am the owner of the Blumo with black interiors. Let me explain to you what happened: the guy of the garage where my Blumo is parked is also a mechanic and approx one month ago he made some repairs to a Blumo with brown interiors which is NOT for sale. Then, when I asked him to help me to sell my Blumo he took some pictures of my car but unfortunately the first picture was taken from the other Blumo (you can see the different white numbers on the fender). Then, he made a second mistake because he put a totally fantasy price in the ad (8000€) which, if you understand Italian, also states at the end "price to be agreed". That's all. I hope having clarified the whole issue. Anyhow, my car (Blumo with black interiors) is still for sale. If interested let me know. Filippo

Best to tell the truth, I just bought one from a guy and yeah there are holes in the car and plus the rear axel was only finger tightened on and a lot of other issues!! Mainly sorted now by a good friend of mine, but boy it was not worth the price I payed!!
Get a mechanic to go right through that car and list all whats up with it, best be honest than get a backlash!

Ant, Just following up with you....you say the rear diff attaching bolts were "fingertight".....I can assure you that is not possible. I have swapped out at least a dozen of these Monaco rears to include that one. Someone must have tried to steal the valuable 9.25 rear that was in the car during transport. All bolts and nuts were tight when it left Maryland. I am sorry you are not happy with the car....but based on your comments you posted under the "Bluesmobile Owners" area...I thought you were very pleased with the car. That was one of the cleanest "unmolested" Monacos I have ever owned. The interior was mint.
