rear package tray

Summary:
Bluesmobile = 4 grilles + defogger outlet.
And maybe, if you see a Monaco sedan, with 4 grilles, and no defogger outlet, it's a 75+
Here's the "hero shot" of the rear package tray.
From what I can see in the movie, the bluesmobile always has the rear window defogger (both the blower outlet, and also the switch in the dash). All the shots are also compatible with having four grille areas surrounding the defogger.
My Marin County came with the defogger / 4 grille setup:
At CEVS, 177ellwood pointed out that the outer-two grilles are for speakers, and the right inner grille is for the inlet to the defogger. The left inner grille is a dummy designed to balance out the defogger inlet grille. Here's my car after I removed my package tray.
I got on this subject at CEVS when I saw the cars all in a line. It sure is great having the cars and their knowledgeable owners all right there!
ChiTown John's 74 looked like mine (defogger / 4 grilles).
Country Bunker's 75 came from the factory with NO HOLES. No defogger. No holes for speakers. Apparently, it came with no speakers, and he cut holes for them:
177ellwood's 75 came from the factory with 2 speaker holes, but no defogger. Since it didn't have the defogger it didn't need (nor have) the two inner grilles.
You can see that he modified it to add holes for defogger outlet, and a hole for the defogger inlet, that is unmatched on the left side (no dummy equivalent).
The line of thinking was that the factory provided three different package trays:
a) no speakers, no defogger: no holes
a) speakers with no defogger: 2 outer grilles, no defogger outlet
b) defogger (with or without speakers): 4 grilles, defogger outlet
and that theory was compatible with the cars at CEVS, my car, and the movie bluesmobile.
But then I got scared, because I had previously received a rear package tray WITHOUT a defogger, and cut a hole in it for the defogger outlet. I thought it had 4 grilles, but according to the theory above, this non-defogger tray would have had only 2 grilles, and so I would have a non-screen-accurate rear package tray.
I got home and checked, and I'm OK:
So we had another type of tray: With speakers, without defogger, but with 4 grilles. I cut the outlet hole for the defogger, using Marin County as a template.
I checked the parts catalogs and they only list different trays for body styles. It makes sense that the different rear window configuration would mandate a different package tray. I noticed that LV's hardtop had different sail panels, and it would make sense that the package tray would also be different from a sedan.

I don't know why the parts catalog doesn't break down the part further by holes. Maybe they all were the same "part number" and they then stamped the holes as needed.
Here are the relevant parts catalog pages:
