In a thread about cars for sale, Steam wrote: > Swap the front clip, tan interior, and back passenger door from the > wagon onto the sedan (back door will swap, right?) Read more: www.bluesmobiles.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sedans&action=display&thread=1226#ixzz2Mxac4HypIt looks like the back doors are DIFFERENT between sedan and S/W. For quick checks like this, I use www.car-part.comsee for the front that sedan and S/W are listed as having the same door. but they are broken out separately for the rear door. Someone seriously interested should do some more research for verification (such as checking the parts catalog)

The numbers say that the door shells themselves are different. But the other pieces of the door, such as weatherstripping, mechanics and glass, are the same from the S/W to the Sedan. Attachments:

Interesting. Thanks for the follow-up lads. I see now that the back door on the Texas wagon does differ from the back door on a sedan. I mean I think it does . It looks like the bottom left of the door on the wagon extends to roughly the middle of the door handle - But the illustration in the brochure for a Monaco Custom wagon the back door appears more like a sedan and different than the Texas wagon ... - Here's a pic of another '74 wagon we had posted at BBC and the door seems different than the Texas wagon ... Hard to tell. Is it possible the Monaco wagon and the Monaco Custom wagon had different rear doors?

Hi Steam: Thanks for the comparison pics. At first, it looked to me that the upper edge of the rear of the door was different sedan vs. s/w, but in the end I'm not so sure. Maybe the bottom rear edge of the door is different - it looks like the s/w has a "thicker" area of the body between the wheel well and the door edge.
Whatever the difference is, according to the parts catalog all s/w had the same rear door, and that door was different from the sedan rear door:
front door, 3 types: a) 2-door hardtop [23] b) 4-door hardtop [43] c) sedan, both types of s/w [41, 45, 46]
rear door, 3 types: a) 4-door hardtop [43] b) sedan [41] c) both types of s/w [45, 46]
