So I bought a new radio for the Monaco that I plan to install in the glove box. I had to tear out the old radio and an obnoxious equalizer and there are wires EVERYWHERE! I was wondering if anyone has info on what color wires go where or if anyone has photos of the factory connectors. Also, does anyone know where to wire an illumination wire for a new radio?

Also, I just noticed that without hacking into it, I'm not going to be able to fit the radio in the glove box. Has anyone else done anything creative? I was thinking of possibly installing it in the normal spot, just recessed more so that I could still cover it up with the blank off cover and hope that the remote would still work...

I'm going to install the radio under the seat with direct cable from the battery(with fuse of course). Unless I have to do that massive rewiring before I get the need for music, then I'm going to take power from the new fuse box like it should be done.

I decided to mount it under the dash, behind the foot air bar mounted to the bottom of the heater core plastic. I used some pretty shallow screws to make sure I didn't bust the core. Unfortunately it's fallen down twice now. I don't know if it's just the old plastic that's too brittle or what, but I need to find a way to get it to stay...
