Youve seen it too!?!?! I always thought it was just an urban legend. Until today... I was driving down the interstate today just minding my own buisness. When outa nowhere came this big nasty looking storm. I took a look in my rear view mirror, and there it was! Then came the down pour from the storm.. I turned for just a sec... and it had somehow cleverly disguised itself as a yellow firebird!!! Idk guys... -zac

^ I think what might be screwing you up on that one is it's labeled as a 1975, and the lower grille does have a bit of the egg crate look to it but that is consistent with the '74, not as pronounced as the '75 it seems to me but it depends on the camera angle, too. Sometimes the vertical pieces in the lower grille seem more visible. It's a '74 just like this beauty hardtop brougham ... Rosco's Monaco morphed around a bit in the first few episodes. Definitely all '75 here ... Appears to become a different car with a '74 grille and longer trim. Is it now a '75 with a '74 grille or a '74, with a '75 bumper? Haha, guess you can never be certain until you see the VIN. And those bumperettes are messin' with ya, too, eh! Here's a '74, no bumperettes, and you can notice what I mean about how sometimes you see the vertical bars in the lower grille.

It was purely visual, looked to me like the lip on the corner was like on the 75, but the bumperettes were too close together with a 74 lower grille. Didn't really consider anything else. The lip around the corner seems really very obviously 75.
Would the suspected 74.5 be on a 75 Monaco?
