Ok, I am usually pretty good figuring stuff out but this one has momentarily stumped me.
How do you remove the glove box lock from the glove box door. I took the obvious two screws out that attach the the lock to the door. Now the the thing is loose but it appears it has to come out from the back of the door which means the lock bezel has to come off.
Any ideas?

Hi Spanks: Here's the info from page 8-78 in the Body & Chassis manual:

So the cylinder does have to come out of it to completely remove it from the door. I'll have to play with it a bit. Locks like this typically have a little detent or release hat has to be pushed with the key inserted into the lock to get them apart. The trick is figuring out where that is. This looks like a stiff wire into the right side to release THEN insert the key. Got it. I just did an ignition on a Ford Focus today....it was fairly easy.
