They are slowly puttin' the band back together upstairs. At least he passed doing what he loved best and not after some prolonged illness. He has left an incredible legacy of music to be enjoyed forever.

I saw some of David Letterman's show tonight, and when the band (including original BB Band members Paul Shaffer and Tom Malone) played for the commercial breaks, all the songs were ones that Duck Dunn played on. It was a nice tribute. I heard "Soul Man," "Hip Hug-Her," "Knock On Wood," "634-5789," "Time Is Tight" and "In The Midnight Hour." They may have played even more; I didn't see the whole show. (In some cases only a couple seconds of a song made it on TV, but the studio audience heard more.)
