The numbers on the speedo don't look like they've yellowed at all.

This is my car, finally got it down to Florida. Bought it in Virginia 5/12. I found it from the Ebay ad in 7/11. Did'nt know if I could keep it in 2012 so I put it up for sale while it sat in Va. It appears the car sat since 1981. 1 gallon PB blaster, 2 qts ATF down the carb, cleaned the plugs, dumped some gas down the carb, jumped the relay and it roared to life. Windshield has been replaced and it should be on the road this week It is a PK41 car and it appears to have every police option available at the time. The car was 100% complete and original.

Are you keeping it or will it be for sale again?

I'd like to say I'll keep it forever. BUT!!!!---I'll probably put a ton of time and a fair amount of cash into it, and then sell it when: I need the mortgage Pay the shop rent Buy some Ford P71' for the business or buy another long dead derelict Mopar. And of course I'll sell it for a considerable loss

The original ads on the car by the previous owner were pure BS This car had not run in 30 years My buddy and I each bought one that day. The other car can be seen in the background It's an A38 car with a U code 440, and bone dry inside. It sat for 20 years. We had to replace the engine but it's on the road in Virginia. There is one more && Broughm cruiser in that field. It is probably an ex NC state car

Thanks for joining and filling in some blanks for us. I'll mark the thread as sold for now, sounds like you'll have it for awhile.

She's looking much better now! That uncracked header panel sure looks nice. Interesting that the speedo got a downgrade from the original white: to the latest yellow:

Speedo drive was frozen and original cable was twisted and destroyed. Rather than take any chances with brittle plastic I swapped the whole unit and the HVAC control head to match
